Trip to Astoria Skate Park

My friends wanted to take a trip to Astoria to go to the skate park, so I came along for the views.

MALIBLUE

I went to Malibu beach club with Drew today.

We worked on a mural for the shower in his cabana.

Later we went to lunch at the new restaurant of the beach club, Maliblue.

My first time trying baked clams!  Not bad, but I don't think these guys are my cup of tea...

The pulled pork sliders were really yummy!

Trip to Brooklyn for lunch and Dinner

My friends have an apartment in Brooklyn so I took a trip over there for the day on Saturday.   

We got lunch at a place called Lokal in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint area. 

We ate a nice lo mein dinner at M Noodle before taking a trip into DUMBO to check out the view of the park.

It was a hot trip with a lot of walking and subways to get to DUMBO, but the view was definitely worth it.  Just too bad my camera died before we got there!  Cell phone pictures will just have to do.
